General purpose backing pneumatics for TD operation (U-GAS01)
TD equipment typically requires a supply of high purity carrier gas (usually helium) and a supply of dry gas (either dry air or nitrogen) to operate. U-GAS01 controls both these gas supplies immediately upstream
of the TD system.
It consists of a high quality (stainless steel) regulator and 0-60 psi gauge for
control of the carrier gas and a standard regulator and 0-100 psi gauge for control of the dry gas. Both lines also have on/off toggle valves. Markes strongly recommend that every UNITY (series 1 or 2) platform thermal desorber is configured with a U-GAS01 pneumatic control accessory.
Carrier gas backing pneumatic accessory for some TD accessories & applications (U-GAS03)
U-GAS03 consists of one high quality (stainless steel) regulator, a 0 - 60 psi gauge and an on/off toggle valve. U-GAS03 is recommended for use in the
following configurations.
- Controlling purge gas supply on an ULTRA (1 or 2) autosampler with ISDP accessory
- Regulating the pressure of the internal standard (IS) gas supplying CIA8 or ULTRA-ISDP if no other appropriate regulation is supplied
- Controlling the supply gas to the Microchamber/Thermal extractor or TC-20
