Supplied either in packets of 20, 200 or 2000 either stainless steel or inert stainless steel.
Sorbent retaining gauzes are manufactured to critical tolerances to ensure that they correctly fit the front groove of metal (stainless steel/inert coated) tubes.
The placement of the front gauze is critical for diffusive sampling as it defines the diffusion gap. All Markes 3½” metal tubes are supplied with this critical front gauze correctly and firmly fitted.
Gauzes may also be used to separate sorbent beds in metal multi-sorbent tubes. For inert coated tubes, gauzes in contact with the sample stream are also inert coated.
