The TubeMate tool is used to insert (and remove) the gauze retaining spring in metal tubes. Once the spring is partially inserted into the end of the tube, TubeMate grips the spring and enables it to be twisted into place with very little effort.
Reversing the process aids the removal of the springs when unpacking old tubes. The other end of the TubeMate tool can also be used to push the rear sorbent retaining gauze down onto the sorbent surface.
